Platform Terms of Service
Last updated: 01 August 2026
This document is a detailed operational draft, not legal advice. Add company registration, consumer cancellation rules, tax treatment and Latvia/EU counsel approval.
1. Platform role
NALDERN is a marketplace through which independent clients and professionals find one another, arrange services and process payments. Professionals are independent service providers unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
2. Accounts, eligibility and verification
Users must provide accurate details, secure their account and have legal capacity to contract. Professionals must complete identity, tax and payout verification required by the platform, payment provider and applicable law.
3. Profiles, scope and bookings
Professionals are responsible for the accuracy of skills, rates, licences, availability and qualifications. Clients are responsible for accurately describing the work location, scope and relevant risks. A booking is confirmed only after successful payment.
4. Fees and settlement
The client pays the professional service amount plus the displayed 10% platform service fee. Payments are processed by the configured payment provider. Professional earnings are transferred after the required completion workflow. The service is not described as regulated escrow unless separately authorised.
5. Evidence and admin review
Before-and-after images are private operational evidence, visible only to the professional and authorised administrators. Admin review checks consistency with the stated scope; it is not a technical inspection, professional certification or safety warranty.
6. Cancellations, disputes and refunds
Unpaid bookings can be cancelled through the platform. Paid bookings may be paused for dispute review. Refund decisions consider the agreed scope, communications, evidence, consumer law, processor rules and any work already completed.
7. Ratings
Only clients from completed bookings may rate a professional. Reviews must be truthful, relevant and free of unlawful, abusive or private information.
8. Prohibited services
Illegal, unsafe or regulated services may not be offered without the necessary authorisation. The platform may suspend accounts, remove profiles or stop a transaction where fraud, illegality or safety risk is suspected.
9. Taxes, licences and insurance
Each user remains responsible for their own tax status, declarations, licences, permits and insurance. The platform may collect and report seller information where DAC7 or other reporting duties apply.
